A few weeks ago I had EFY and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the testimony meeting,-well, that and everything else. On the last day when it was time to go, about half the girls from my company were crying. Here is why. Over the week we had spent about fifty-six hours together as a company, give or take some. So, we really got pretty close. It was like a little family- Michael was just like one of us for the most part, and Madeline was like our mom. Anybody from EFY who might be reading this, FRIEND ME. (On Facebook.) I miss you guys! Here are the pictures (and videos) I got.
At testimony meeting, the testimony that touched me the most was one given by a boy from out of state. He said that where he lived being a teenager was, considered by most people to practically be, having sex, doing drugs, and drinking. He said that his parents and he hadn't been getting along super well, and before coming to EFY, had been unsure if he had a testimony, but after being around us had rediscovered that he did. It made me realize how blessed I am to be somewhere where I am surrounded by the kind of people who help you to strengthen and gain a testimony every day. I know this church is true, and that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I know that Jesus is there for us every step of the way, and that he is our loving older brother. I know that he died for me, and I am so grateful for him. In the name of Jesus Christ, my brother, amen.
P.S. Last Friday I ran 30 minutes straight. It was 3 and a half miles, for anybody who would like to know.
Glad you had fun at EFY!
